Location:  On-site at our Aurora, CO campus (no remote/hybrid option)
Position:  Graduate Employment Specialist
Hours:  Monday - Friday, with the occasional evenings/weekends  
Pay Range:  $23 - $27/hr, DOE

The Graduate Employment Specialist (GES) at our Aurora, CO campus plays a key role in helping students and graduates successfully transition into their careers. This position builds strong relationships with learners and employer partners to create effective job matches, support career readiness, and ensure employment benchmarks are met.

The GES provides high‑quality coaching, guidance, and resources throughout the job search process, while maintaining accurate placement documentation. This role also supports daily department operations and contributes to a positive, mission‑driven campus environment aligned with Concorde’s core values of integrity, respect, teamwork, service, and achievement.

Responsibilities

  • Drive Graduate Employment Outcomes: Meet or exceed assigned placement benchmarks through proactive outreach, strategic job matching, and consistent follow‑up with students and graduates.
  • Provide High‑Impact Career Coaching: Support students and alumni with resume development, interview preparation, job search strategy, and professional readiness to enhance their employment success.
  • Cultivate Employer Partnerships: Build and maintain strong relationships with employer partners to generate job opportunities, coordinate interviews, and support successful placements.
  • Manage Accurate Placement Documentation: Ensure timely, organized, and compliant record‑keeping within CampusNexus and graduate employment files.
  • Support Key Campus & Community Events: Assist with planning and participate in graduation ceremonies, job fairs, PAC meetings, Student Appreciation events, and other assigned activities.
  • Flexibility in Schedule:  must be available to work occasional evenings/weekends 

Qualifications

Education / Experience

  • Associate degree or higher required. Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 1-3 years of experience in higher education career services, placement industry or Student Affairs
  • Goal setting/quota experience to meet designated outcomes
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and quick to learn new systems
  • Strong communication, customer service, and organizational skills
  • Familiarity with local job markets and employer needs

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
  • Comfort working in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships
