Responsibilities

What will you do? 

·       Prepare thoughtfully for teaching, following approved lesson plans.

·       Foster an engaging and positive learning environment.

·       Support student success with timely feedback and guidance.

·       Embrace technology and utilize our online platform effectively.

·       Collaborate with fellow educators to enhance instructional quality.

·       Make a difference by identifying and aiding struggling students.

Qualifications

What will you need?

·       Must have either:

o   Masters in nursing from a program with national nursing accreditation; Doctorate preferred.

o   A graduate degree in a field other than nursing coupled with a Bachelors degree in nursing from a program with national nursing accreditation and evidence that graduate degree is in a field relevant to the area of responsibility.

o   Bachelor’s degree in nursing with a written plan, to be submitted to the Board of Nursing, demonstrating ongoing progression in obtaining a graduate degree in nursing from a program with national nursing accreditation.

·       Minimum of 4 years of clinical experience:

o   Clinical Instructors: Must have 1 year of documented experience in the area of instruction.

o   Theory Instructors: Must have at least 2 years of professional nursing clinical experience.

·       Must hold an active and unencumbered license to practice as a registered nurse in the state of employment.  

·       Must meet all regulatory and corporate qualifications.

·       Previous experience teaching nursing students preferred.

Hourly rate range from $43-$45/HR based on experience and education.
