Your Responsibilities:
• Coordinate and schedule clinical placements for surgical technology students.
• Maintain communication with clinical affiliates through newsletters to relay crucial clinical information.
• Ensure students meet clinical objectives and verify their progress regularly.
• Collaborate with the Program Director to enhance the clinical laboratory's equipment and supplies.
• Assist in new clinical affiliate acquisition and preceptor orientation.
• Document site visits and conduct audits to maintain quality standards.
• Provide problem-solving support for students during clinic hours.
• Engage in ongoing training, classroom instruction, and assessment activities.
• Participate in advisory board meetings, showcasing your dedication to program excellence.
Your Qualifications:
• Associate degree in Surgical Technology
• Minimum of 4 Years of clinical experience with at least 3 years in an operating room scrub role within the last 5 years.
• Must be credentialed in the field of surgical technology through a national certification program that is accredited by the NCCA.
• Must meet all regulatory and corporate qualifications.
• Previous experience teaching students preferred.
