Your Responsibilities:
Instructional Duties:
• Instruct classes as assigned.
• Prepare comprehensive lesson plans and course materials.
• Assess students objectively for academic performance.
• Utilize instructional plans effectively, supplementing approved student material when necessary.
• Ensure security of assessment tools and confidential documentation.
• Utilize and monitor the learning management systems.
• Maintain the required class duration.
Student Interaction:
• Create a positive classroom environment conducive to learning.
• Serve as a role model for professionalism and conduct.
• Provide constructive feedback to students on academic performance, grades, and behavior.
• Communicate student concerns to the Program Director.
• Maintain accurate student records, grades, and attendance.
• Facilitate tutoring and makeup work as needed.
• Refer students to appropriate resources for additional advising when necessary.
• Enforce campus policies and procedures.
Related Duties, Outside the Classroom:
• Keep accurate records and stay informed of current instructional methodologies.
• Participate in ongoing faculty and professional development activities.
• Attend workshops, seminars, and meetings to improve instructional and professional skills.
• Assist with graduation ceremonies and campus activities.
• Help with inventory, organization, and ordering of supplies and materials.
• Maintain a neat and orderly classroom.
• Assist in equipment and technology maintenance.
• Contribute to a positive campus culture.
• Assist other departments when needed.
Your Qualifications:
• Must be a licensed Physical Therapist or Physical Therapist Assistant in the state of employment.
• Must have a minimum of an associate degree in Physical Therapist Assisting.
• Must have a minimum of 4 years’ full-time post-licensure clinical experience in physical therapy.
• Must demonstrate contemporary expertise in assigned teaching areas and demonstrated effectiveness in teaching and student evaluation.
