Medical Office Administration Instructor

As an Online Medical Office Administration Instructor at Concorde Career College, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our students. Your primary responsibilities will include instructing classes, preparing engaging lesson plans, and objectively assessing student performance. Additionally, you will maintain a positive and conducive learning environment, offer constructive feedback, and ensure compliance with academic policies.

Responsibilities

Instructional Duties:


• Instruct classes in online settings.
• Prepare comprehensive lesson plans and course materials.
• Assess student academic performance objectively.
• Utilize instructional plans effectively.
• Ensure security and confidentiality of assessment tools and documentation.
• Monitor and utilize the learning management systems efficiently.

 

Student Interaction:


• Maintain a positive and productive classroom environment.
• Serve as a role model for professionalism and conduct.
• Provide regular, constructive feedback to students.
• Address attendance, academic, and behavioral concerns
• Maintain accurate student records, grades, and attendance.
• Facilitate tutoring and makeup work as needed.
• Adhere to campus policies and procedures.

 

Related Duties, Outside the Classroom:


• Participate in faculty and professional development activities.
• Attend workshops, seminars, and meetings.
• Assist with graduation ceremonies and campus activities.
• Support inventory management and equipment maintenance
• Maintain a positive campus culture.
• Assist with student recognition and clinical site visits.

Qualifications

Qualifications:


• Minimum of three years of related practical work experience
• Associate degree preferred.
• Experience with Medicaid/Medicare claims, scheduling, patient accounts, and patient billing
• Coding experience, CPC or AAPC preferred.
• Prior teaching and management experience preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
