Clinical Administrator

($25.74 - $40.23 per hour based on experience)

The Clinical Administrator manages and oversees all aspects of clinical education and operations within the college’s programs. This role ensures the seamless integration of clinical experiences into academic curricula, maintains compliance with accreditation and regulatory standards, and supports students, faculty, and clinical partners to achieve program goals.

Principal Accountabilities & Deliverables

• Plan, organize, and manage clinical placements for students across healthcare programs
  • Collaborate with faculty and academic leadership to align clinical experiences with curriculum objectives
  • Serve as the primary liaison between the college and clinical site partners, ensuring strong and effective relationships
• Verify all clinical placements comply with state, federal, and accreditation standards
  • Maintain accurate records of clinical site agreements, student certifications, immunizations, and background checks
  • Prepare reports and documentation for accreditation bodies and regulatory audits
• Provide guidance to students regarding clinical requirements, schedules, and expectations
  • Assist faculty in preparing for clinical rotations, including site orientation and resource coordination
  • Address concerns or challenges related to clinical experiences for both students and faculty
• Develop, implement, and maintain policies and procedures for clinical education
  • Monitor and report student clinical performance metrics and hours, ensuring compliance with program requirements
  • Evaluate clinical site performance and suitability, conducting site visits as needed
• Identify, establish, and maintain clinical partnerships with hospitals, clinics, and other healthcare providers
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with clinical sites, ensuring mutual benefits and alignment with program goals
  • Organize orientations and regular communications with clinical site representatives
• Other duties as assigned

Education / Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in a healthcare-related field (preferred)
• Unencumbered LVN or RN license in Oregon (highly preferred)
• Minimum three (3) years of experience in clinical administration, education, or healthcare management (required)
• Experience in academic settings or clinical education coordination (required)
• M-F varied schedules with weekend flexibility needed

Skills

• Knowledge of regulatory and accreditation standards for healthcare education (e.g., CCNE, ACEN, or equivalent)
• Proficiency in clinical tracking and learning management systems (e.g., Typhon, Meditrek, or similar)

• Ability to tailor support to the specific needs of healthcare students, faculty, and clinical partners

Work Environment

• Work is performed indoors in a climate-controlled environment when on site at assigned company location. Employees must be able to safely ambulate when on company premises.
