Manager Workforce Partnerships

 

The Manager Workforce Partnerships connects the organization with local workforce agencies, community organizations, and prospective students to promote educational access and career training. This role blends workforce development, community engagement, and a consultative approach to help individuals access education and career training. This position builds strong relationships with workforce agencies, community-based organizations, and prospective students to drive enrollment and support successful career outcomes.

Salary: $75K to $80K

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary liaison to workforce agencies to maintain partnerships and ensure compliance with training and funding requirements
  • Support agency-referred students through the application, documentation, and enrollment process
  • Submit and manage training provider applications to maintain eligibility
  • Provide campus coverage when campus-based liaisons are unavailable
  • Assist California campuses with annual documentation reviews and audit preparation
  • Build partnerships with job centers, nonprofits, and community organizations.
  • Present programs and career pathways to individuals and groups
  • Develop and negotiate Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) training contracts and industry-specific training programs
  • Organize campus-based luncheons to engage workforce agencies and promote collaboration
  • Cultivate new referral sources to support enrollment growth and community impact
  • Partner with Admissions, Financial Aid, and Career Services to ensure strong support for agency-referred students
  • Collaborate with admissions, financial aid, and career services teams to ensure a seamless student experience from inquiry to employment
  • Monitor student progress and outcomes to report back to referring agencies and ensure continued funding eligibility
  • Maintain accurate tracking of referrals, partnerships, and outcomes
  • Submit required reports and applications on time, in coordination with campus leaders
  • Monitor and report contract revenue and fulfillment for growth and performance metrics
  • Support campuses by monitoring, overseeing, submitting, and tracking quarterly workforce reports to ensure timely and accurate compliance with reporting requirements
  • Travel to cultivate and maintain workforce partnerships and promote organizational programs to workforce agencies and community organizations
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Education/Experience

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Education, Human Services, or related field (required)
  • Minimum of four (4) year of experience in workforce development, community outreach, admissions, or sales (required)
  • Experience with WIOA and related workforce funding programs and contracts (preferred)

Work Environment

  • Work is performed indoors in a climate-controlled environment when on site at assigned company location. Employees must be able to safely ambulate when on company premises.
  • This position is designated as Remote. Employees must meet minimum technical standards for eligibility and participation.
  • Overnight and/or Local travel required (up to 50%)
