Nursing Instructor LVPN
(Tue/Thursday Theory- Evening Classes)
The instructor’s primary responsibilities are to provide active and effective learning for students in all applicable educational settings, act as professional and academic role models and commit to student satisfaction. This includes teaching in classrooms, labs, and outside the classroom during campus and student activities. This position delivers high-quality instruction to students, combining theoretical knowledge with practical, hands-on experience, develops and implements curriculum, assesses student progress, and ensures adherence to industry standards and best practices. Instructors are required to teach both didactic and clinical courses.
Your Qualifications:
• Must hold an active and unencumbered RN or LVN license in the state of employment.
• Minimum of 4 years of clinical nursing experience in the past 5 years
• Must have either:
o Bachelor’s degree from an accredited nursing school,
o Valid teaching credentials
o Completed 1 year of full-time teaching in a state accredited or approved RN or LVN program.
o Meet all teaching requirements for community college or state universities in California.
• Must meet approval of the Board of Nursing to hold the position.
• Must meet all regulatory and corporate qualifications.
• Previous experience teaching nursing students preferred.
